New Delhi: Manchester United left back Luke Shaw has had a injury ridden first season and that has affected his performances too. The English international was replaced by Phil Jones in United's FA Cup quarter-final match against Arsenal at half-time after another hamstring injury.
The former Southampton sensation joined Man United for a whooping £30million last summer and has featured in only 16 matches for the club all season. In his absence marcos Rojo, Ashley Young, Tyler Blackett and Daley Blind have all been made makeshift replacements.
Shaw stated on Thursday that he wants to keep improving as a player and show the people why he is there at Manchester United. The youngster expressed his views on social micro-blogging site, Twitter.
"I want to keep improving as a player and show people why I'm here at Manchester United," says Reds defender @LukeShaw3.
