New Delhi: Led by the Real Madrid duo of Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale, Portugal and Wales respectively, go head-to-head in the semi-finals of UEFA Euro 2016.

The two most expensive players in the world play a very similar style of football and can also be compared in their technical abilities, but both have a very contrasting personalities.

Cristiano Ronaldo, who is immaculately groomed, loves posing for the cameras when he scores and is often captured growling at his teammates.

Gareth Bale, on the other hand, is found constantly encouraging his team mates and as described by his manager, is "the most down-to-earth person one can meet."

Ronaldo has often been a subject of criticism for his image, especially when he said that Portugal needed "two or three Cristiano Ronaldos" to win matches.

He insists on taking every free kick within, no matter what the shooting distance is. Such behaviour hints towards his selfish attitude.

Bale, in comparison, has been the star of his team in the tournament so far, yet looks relaxed and composed in his approach. He too is not afraid to stir up controversies, such as when he said that no England players would get into the Wales side. He even described Wales as more passionate than their larger neighbours.

Controrary to the Portuguese captain, the Welshman is highlighted by the media encouraging his teammates.
