Greece defender Avraam Papadopoulos out of Euro 2012

Warsaw (Poland): Greece defender Avraam Papadopoulos has been ruled of the rest of matches in the on-going Euro 2012 after suffering a knee injury in their 1-1 draw against co-hosts Poland on Friday.

The Hellenic Football Federation (EPO) announced that the 27-year-old will return home after a scan report showed he had suffered damaged ligaments in his left knee.

Greece next face the Czech Republic in Wroclaw on Tuesday.
