New Delhi: Expect a blockbuster beginning to this season as the FA Community Shield is at stake with two English powerhouses battling for glory. Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger will look to get his hands full at Wembley when his side takes on English champions Manchester City at Wembley on Sunday.

For Arsenal it has been a busy summer and most importantly it has got the atmosphere ticking off on a vibrant mode with the arrival of key players and the name that leads the list is Barcelona`s, Alexis Sanchez. The Chile international will hope to deliver straight away after his big money move from Spain and Sunday will showcase his talent on English soil.

Last season saw them finally sealing a trophy after a period of nine years and Wenger will hope that was the beginning of a new era once again as he looks to get his team gunning for glory once again. The stage is set on Sunday for Wenger to showcase the possibility of his team`s prowess against Manuel Pelligrini`s side.

German trio of Mesut Ozil, Per Mertesacker and Lukas Podolski is set to miss the tie but even without them the Arsenal side look strong. This is a chance for the Gunners to take early mometum in the season with the English Premier League starting next week.

Wenger though will see his team`s skipper Thomas Vermaelen moving to Manchester United by next week and that is something that looked prominent. Wenger is expected to start with Laurent Koscielny and teenager Calum Chambers in central defence.

On the other hand Manchester City who hold a better win ratio against Arsenal in recent times will be a tough side to break down. City are the favourites once again to make it big this season but Wenger and his boys will hope to pull their opponent`s plug early on heading into a long season.

Wenger will come across Bacary Sagna who was the latest player to join City from Arsenal. Sagna has followed Kolo Toure, Emmanuel Adebayor, Gael Clichy and Samir Nasri to City and it has become a familiar path for Wenger to see his major players choose the champions of England.

Overall the tie promises a plenty to look forward too and Wenger will hope to get the shield and what a better chance to do it at London and get the season ticking on a winning note. Another lapse is what Arsenal need to avoid and this time they look the team to go far and challenge for silverware.
