Former French World Cupper Dhorasoo attends workshop

Kolkata: Former French world cup soccer star Vikash Dhorasoo on Saturday attended a workshop organised by
Football Players Association (FPA) on Anti-Doping and Tax
consulting as a special guest.

FPA President Bhaichung Bhutia inaugurated the workshop
and dealt with issues such as doping and tax payment.

Doctor Nisith Ranjan Chowdhury spoke on doping laws,
player responsibilities and banned substances.

Chowdhury said it (doping) is a very difficult subject
which players are not really aware of and cited the case of
Nishant Mehra from Mumbai FC, which shows how easily a player
can test positive without proper background knowledge.

G Agarwal from Ernst & Young spoke about the issue of
taxation and what players need to keep in mind and not to get
in conflict with the Income Tax department.

Special guest in former French international and player
of Indian origin Dhorasoo, who happened to be in Kolkata
today spoke to the players on the issue of doping.
