Galatasaray inks three-year deal with Mancini

Ankara: Turkish giants Galatasaray have signed a three-year contract with the former Inter and Manchester City coach Roberto Mancini.

Mancini, 48, has been out of work since being dismissed as City manager in May, after a three-and-a-half-year reign at the Etihad Stadium that included a Premier League title success in 2012 and a 2011 FA Cup victory.

Galatasaray, who made a disappointing start to the season with only seven points from five league games, broke away with former coach Fatih Terim last month.

Galatasaray`s Tugay Kerimoglu will act as Mancini`s assistant, the club announced Tuesday.
