High-flying Genoa spurned the chance to move up to third place in Italy`s Serie A on Monday after being held to a 1-1 draw by visitors Palermo.
In a result which meant all home sides failed to win in Italy`s top flight over the weekend, Argentinian Paulo Dybala hit a spectacular effort just seven minutes in to give the Sicilians the lead.
Genoa secured a share of the points thanks to Luca Antonelli`s leveller on the half hour, but the dropped points meant they stay in fifth place, one point behind city rivals Sampdoria.
Juventus, who beat Lazio 3-0 on Saturday, hold a three-point lead on title rivals Roma, who defeated Atalanta 2-1 away, while Napoli are in third a further six points adrift after a thrilling 3-3 draw at home to Cagliari on Sunday.
AC Milan and Inter Milan played out an entertaining 1-1 draw in the derby at the San Siro on Sunday. The Rossoneri remain seventh, 13 points behind Juventus, with Inter a further point adrift in ninth.
