New Delhi: As per manager Pep Guardiola, Bayern Munich only have eight or nine fully-fit players ahead of their German Supercup clash against Borussia Dortmund.
Both teams are not expected to field any of the German World Cup squad members as they have just returned from their extended breaks. Bayern stars Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery haven`t even made the trip for the match.
The German Supercup pits the Bundesliga champions against the winners of the German Cup. Since Bayern won both those trophies in 2014, Dortmund, by virtue of finishing second in the Bundesliga, earned the right to face the Bavarians in the Supercup.
Robert Lewandowski will be playing against his former side, as he looks set to make his full Bayen Munich debut. Other new faces expected to start for the German champions are Juan Bernat and Sebastian Rode.
While Borussia too will field their new summer recruits Matthias Ginter, Ciro Immobile, Adrian Ramos and Ji Dong-won in this match.
It was Jurgen Klopp who got the better off Pep Guardiola 4-2 when their sides met in the 2013 Supercup.
