India climb three spots to 147 in FIFA rankings

India have climbed 3 places in the last month to be promoted from the 150th to the 147th spot in the FIFA rankings however the team have dropped down from 25th to 26th spot in the continent.

India are ranked above Bangladesh (152), Pakistan (168), Sri Lanka (172) and Nepal (171) among the teams from the sub-continent. The national team don`t have any immediate fixtures lined up but will be in action once again when they take on Malaysia (159) in a friendly in September before taking part in the SAFF Championships.
