Judge to examine Neymar transfer

The Brazil international left Santos for Camp Nou in a €57 million deal over the summer but the move is set to go under the microscope

Madrid: A Spanish judge has asked Barcelona to hand over Neymar`s transfer documentation as the mystery deepens over a €40 million commission fee.
Neymar moved to Camp Nou in a €57m transfer from Santos in July, but details relating to the final sum paid for the player and to which parties the money was eventually allocated to remain unclear. One of Rosell`s presidential opponents, Jordi Cases, has demanded to know more about the Blaugrana chief`s role in the transfer and asked for greater transparency over the €40m payment - which was previously thought to have gone to the player`s father by way of commission following his role in the deal. But the Spanish High Court is set to look over all documents relating to the move before deciding whether Barcelona have a case to answer. The reigning Liga champions have previously refused to clarify specific details regarding the money involved, after highlighting a confidentiality clause supposedly inserted by one of the parties involved in the deal. But the club insist they are innocent of any wrongdoing and maintain they will provide all necessary information to judge Pablo Ruz as and when required. Goal.com
