Juventus sweat over Vidal, Tevez

Champions Juventus could be without midfielder Arturo Vidal for Saturday`s fixture at home to Udinese as well as a Champions League fixture against Malmo as striker Carlos Tevez calmed fears he could also be injured.

According to reports Vidal has been sidelined for around 10 days due to a right thigh problem, although Tevez was quick to play down fears after he pulled up with a thigh injury during training.

"Thanks everyone for being worried about me," wrote Tevez on Twitter.

"I have no injury and I am ready for Saturday`s game."

Vidal`s build-up to this summer`s World Cup was blighted by a right knee problem. Tevez failed to make Argentina`s squad for the Brazil showpiece.

Juventus have yet to make any official statement concerning the south American duo, who are set to undergo tests on Friday.

Juventus replaced three-time Scudetto-winning coach Antonio Conte in the close season with former AC Milan handler Massimiliano Allegri, who steered the Bianconeri to an opening league win of the season against Chievo.

Juve host Udinese in Turin on Saturday hoping to maintain their 100 percent start to the campaign and kick their Champions League Group A campaign off against Swedish side Malmo in Turin on Tuesday.
