Durban: German forward Miroslav Klose was sent off in the first half of their World Cup Group D game against Serbia after receiving two yellow cards on Friday.
The Serbs immediately took advantage with Milan Jovanovic scoring the game`s first goal, catching Germany off guard.
Klose exited the game in the 37th minute after bringing down Serbian captain Dejan Stankovic leaving Germany with 10 men. He will miss at least one match.
Klose`s first yellow came in the 12th minute for a foul on Branislav Ivanovic.
