Manchester: Manchester United’s goalkeeper Ben Amos, who made the cut for Tuesday’s match with Stoke City, is ready to face Chelsea on Sunday if chosen to don the gloves. The 21 year old was given a start tio feature in the 2-0 victory over Stoke City after David de Gea and Anders Lindegaard were ruled out due to fitness issues. He says his chance has finally come and feels ready to prove himself against any challenge. "I have been waiting a long time for an opportunity this season and thankfully it has come. I feel I am ready to play at this level and it has been kind of frustrating that these chances don`t come around. But you have to be ready when something like that happens and you are thrown straight in and I like to think I made the most of it." he was quoted as saying by the Guardian. The Englishmen feels that keeping clean sheets is the only way to impress the manager and make best use of any chance to put pressure on the other two. "All I can do is keep a clean sheet and play the best I can when I get a chance," said Amos. "You have to do the best you can. It is the manager who makes the decisions and all I can do is put pressure on the other two any chance I get." he said.
