Mancini says Balotelli will definitely stay with Man City next season

London: Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has said Italian striker Mario Balotelli will stay in the team next season, and can star for Italy in the Euros, but added that he needs to keep his brain working.
Balotelli fell out of favour towards the end of the season, as Mancini lost patience with him. He was linked with a summer move to AC Milan after Mancini claimed that the striker was ‘finished’ at the Etihad Stadium. But he did a U-turn, insisting he is sure Balotelli will stay. “Mario was suspended. Then when he came back, the team had won four games in a row and I couldn’t possibly change it. On Mario, I have been clear about it, but I can confirm: Balotelli will stay in Manchester 100 per cent,” The Daily Star quoted Mancini, as saying. “You’ll see that he’ll have a great European Championship (with Italy). He only has to get his brain to work. That’s his only problem,” he added. ANI
