Marco Reus set for return to action in German Cup

Berlin: German international Marco Reus is to start his first match since injury ruled him out of the World Cup finals as he starts for Borussia Dortmund in their German Cup match with third division Stuttgarter Kickers on Saturday.

The 25-year-old -- who will play up front on the left flank -- tore ligaments in his left ankle in the final friendly (a 6-1 thrashing of Armenia) before the World Cup which Germany went on to win.

He missed the German SuperCup on Wednesday which saw Dortmund beat a weakened Bayern Munich 2-0 with Henrikh Mkitaryan and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scoring.
