Morata urges fans to be patient with Madrid

Madrid: Alvaro Morata has called for supporters to have patience with Real Madrid after they came from behind to win 3-2 away against Levante.

The Blancos striker admits that the team are not playing at their best but is confident they will improve their performances in time

Nabil El Zhar`s 86th-minute strike looked set to give los Granotes a shock win after Sergio Ramos had cancelled out Baba Diawara`s opener.

However, Morata struck in the 90th minute to bring the scores level before Cristiano Ronaldo`s deflected effort completed a late turnaround four minutes into stoppage time, and the young Spaniard has urged Madridistas to be patient with the team`s form after another laboured performance.

"We need a touch of patience," the 20-year-old forward told reporters after the game.

"I`m sure we will gradually start playing better. I am very happy - it was a match that we did not start well, but we`ve got through it and we were able to achieve victory.

"At Madrid, from a young age they teach you to fight to the end."

Los Blancos remain in third in La Liga on 19 points, five behind leaders Barcelona.
