London: Real Madrid head coach Jose Mourinho has reportedly agreed to return to Chelsea in an emotional comeback, although his return is unlikely to be officially announced until July 1.
According to a report, although Mourinho is still under contract at Real, he will be back at Stamford Bridge on a 10 million-pounds-a year package, barring any last-minute hitches, until which, both Chelsea and the Portuguese will publicly refrain from announcing anything.
The report further said Mourinho`s return to Chelsea has become more evident after he and Blues owner Roman Abramovich were spotted having dinner at a restaurant in Chelsea.
The report also mentioned that Chelsea is eager to use the big announcement to maximum effect before jetting off on their pre- season Far East tour.
Agreeing with the reports of Mourinho`s return, Dutch footballer Wesley Sneijder, who played for Mourinho at Inter Milan, has claimed that Mourinho has a deep love of Chelsea, adding that he has never made any secret about wanting to coach in England again, especially at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea also aims to field some stellar signings along with Mourinho- they have been linked with Radamel Falcao, Robert Lewandowski, Andre Schurrle and Marouane Fellaini.
