"We have submitted the list of selected players of women's team two months back but not a single camp was held for them," he said adding that JFA asked the players to undergo training in groups in Ranchi and Hazaribagh.

The Office-Secretary of Jharkhand Olympic Association (JOA), Shivendu Dubey said no communique has been exchanged with the state government after the January 6 meeting.

Dubey, however, said Jharkhand will take part in the National Games in 18 events including Archery, Handball, Hockey, Boxing, football (women), irrespective of the state's response.

The JOA functionary too claimed that no coaching camp was held for any team though at least three camps should have been organised ahead of the event.

Contradictng the allegations, Dadan Choubey, Director (Sports), Jharkhand, said two camps had been organised by the sports department including a ten-day camp held between December 18 to 28 in Ranchi.,

"We have made travel arrangement, assured to provide equipment, kits and blazer for the athletes," he claimed adding that government promised to make necessary arrangement for the athletes selected for the event.

Choubey said the Jharkhand contingent comprised 350 athletes and officials for the 35th National Games beginning from 31st January.
