Paulo Dybala worth EUR40m, says Palermo chief Zamparini

Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has slapped a 40 million euro ($50m) price tag on Paulo Dybala as a number of top English Premier League clubs eye the Argentinian striker.

Dybala`s promising start to the season was exemplified by a stunning goal for the promoted Sicilian side in a 2-0 win away to Milan at the San Siro two weeks ago.

The 20-year-old has now scored four goals this season to reportedly spark interest from Southampton and Arsenal, but Zamparini told Radio Crc on Tuesday: "They would have to pay 40m to take him away from Palermo."

Zamparini, famous for his outspoken views, is also known for being trigger-happy when it comes to dealing with coaches.

Since Zamparini took over the club in 2002, 28 coaches have come and gone. Several, including Francesco Guidolin (three), Delio Rossi (two), Stefano Colantuono (two) and Gian Piero Gasperini (two) have had several spells in charge of the team.

Palermo, currently coached by Giuseppe Iachini, are 12th in Serie A, 15 points behind leaders Juventus and eight behind Napoli in the third and last Champions League qualifying spot.
