Pellegrini challenges Man City squad to start era of `dominance` post Premier League title win

London: Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini has reportedly challenged his squad to being an era of dominance after he watched his side lift up the Premier League title for a second time in three seasons.

Pellegrini said that big teams cannot be satisfied with one title, as it is very important.

The Chilean said that his squad will celebrate their victory, but from Monday onwards they should start working for next season because City and the players deserve more titles, The Guardian reported.

Pellegrini has won a first league title in a decade of managing clubs in Europe as he lead City to the championship.

The former Real Madrid coach said that it had not been easy to transform City from the team that finished 11 points behind Manchester United last season, under his predecssor Roberto Mancini, to champions.

Pellegrini added that the most important thing is that they changed the way the City squad played, as he likes to play in another way and it had been very important for the Chilean to give the reasons and have the trust of his squad.
