PSG wants David Beckham to stay for another season

Paris: Big-spending French club Paris Saint Germain (PSG) want to extend David Beckham`s five-month deal, saying that they want him to stay for another year in Paris.

Stating that Beckham is enjoying his stay in Paris, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi said that they want to extend Beckham`s stay in the club for another season. Al-Khelaifi further said that recruiting the former England player was one of his best decisions, and added that Beckham is exceptional, in his forms as a player, an ambassador or an individual. However, the PSG president also said that although they will try to persuade Beckham to stay in the club for another season, the management will respect his final decision. The former England captain joined Carlo Ancelotti `s side on a five-month deal in January, and has helped them book a Champions League quarter-final with Barcelona and also stay top of Ligue 1. ANI
