Madrid: Real Madrid are keen on landing Tottenham Spurs’ Luka Modric after they offload Kaka to Paris St Germain.
The Spanish champions want the Croatian footballer star for 25 million pounds.
According to The Sun, Real could ease the deal by offering Lassana Diarra in part-exchange negotiation.
French midfielder Diarra played for Harry Redknapp at Portsmouth before moving to the Bernabeu three years ago.
Previously, Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy had blocked a 40 million pound bid for Modric last summer.
But the Croatian, 26, has yet to sign a new contract at White Hart Lane and says he will decide his future after the Euro 2012 finals.
