New Delhi: Real Madrid and Portugal star forward Cristiano Ronaldo has added another feather to his cap after taking the social media by storm.
The former Manchester United man became the first sportsperson in the world to reach 200 million followers across social media sites Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
According to social media tracking database Hookit.com, the sensational footballer has 109.7 million followers on Facebook, 49.6 million on Instagram and 40.7 million on Twitter to highlight his growing popularity.
Interestingly, Ronaldo has more followers than other prominent past and present NBA stars Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Steph Curry's combined 187 million.
The 31-year-old Ronaldo, who lost out to Barcelona star Lionel Messi in the Ballon d'Or race in January, leads his long-time rival by a massive figure in the list. Messi has 120.8 million followers on social media, though the Argentine does not have a Twitter account.
