Santos announces Portugal squad for Serbia qualifier

Portugal coach Fernando Santos had the luxury of recalling Real Madrid defender Fabio Coentrao on Thursday as part of his 24-player squad for the upcoming Euro 2016 qualifier at home to Serbia on March 29. 

Coentrao, who returns from injury, makes his return while Real teammate Cristiano Ronaldo leads a strong team that also includes returning quartet Hugo Almeida, Antunes, Eliseu and Ventura. 

Portugal are currently second in Group I in Euro qualifying with six points, one behind leaders Denmark but with a game in hand, while Serbia have just one point from three matches.
