Son won`t shine anymore at Claude Puel`s Nice

Paris: Nice coach Claude Puel said on Thursday he was considering selling his own son Gregoire to another club following sustained abuse from home fans aimed at the player.

The veteran coach said he will "seriously consider" offers for the 22-year-old defender/midfielder who has played 52 French top-flight matches, scoring just one goal.

"It has nothing to do with the protests of a few idiots on our return from Lens," Puel said after the 2-0 defeat in December.

"But it`s true that Gregoire is a young player who finds it difficult to express himself in this atmosphere which is completely hostile.

"He deserves to evolve in a completely different context."
