Manchester: The powerful defender has voiced his desire to don the Rossoneri jersey again in his career and has nothing but praise for striker Mario Balotelli.
Thiago Silva has revealed that he is keen to return to AC Milan when his time at Paris Saint-Germain comes to an end.
The Brazil international left Milan for PSG in the summer of 2012 and has since become a key player at the Ligue 1 champions.
However, he has not forgotten about his former side just yet and is desperate to return to the team where he rose to prominence in the European game.
"I will return to AC Milan one day," the defender said.
"The Milan jersey is still in my heart. I dream of becoming Milan captain. I still have a four-year deal with PSG, we will see what happens then."
The 28-year-old then went on to praise Mario Balotelli, who scored 12 goals in 13 Serie A appearances last season to inspire Milan to a Champions League qualification spot following his January move from Manchester City.
"I really like Mario a lot. People shouldn`t just judge on appearance, but get to know him," Thiago Silva said.
"I would place him only behind Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic if I had to make a list with the best strikers.
"He is still young and has so much room to grow and become even better."
