Thomas Mueller extends contract with Bayern Munich

Berlin: German international and Bayern Munich`s offensive midfielder Thomas Mueller extended his running contract until June 2017, the club said in an official statement.

"Thomas Mueller came through the youth ranks at FC Bayern. His contract ran until 2015 in any case, but we are delighted to extend that by two years until 2017 at this early stage. It is also a proof of Thomas Mueller`s commitment to FC Bayern," Bayern chairman Karl Heinz Rummenigge said on their official homepage Wednesday.
