London: Robin Van Persie has quashed reports claiming that he desires to join Real Madrid but Arsenal won’t allow him to enter any such negotiations. “Contrary to reports in Spain I have NEVER spoken to Marca newspaper and never gave any interview. A Spanish daily ran a front page story claiming that the Dutch had expressed his desire to play for Real Madrid but his club was unwilling to let him go.
