Beleaguered Blackburn Rovers manager Steve Kean has said he and the club’s Indian owners are not going anywhere, and have already started discussing ways to take the club forward after getting relegated to the npower Championship.
“I am here for the long term. These are challenging times for the club and the owners, but I believe Venky`s are 100% the right owners. I am not going anywhere and neither are the owners,” he was quoted as saying by the Guardian.
The club is in a lot of mess after the demotion and the Indian owners have been at the receiving end with critics blaming their lack of football knowledge for the downfall.
Earlier, some reports suggested Paul Hunt, the deputy CEO has been sacked soon after a leaked email from Hunt was emerged, which stated Kean should be sacked last December.
