New Delhi: Lionel Messi on Sunday showed yet again why he is considered as one of the greatest footballers to have played the game.
Against Celta Vigo, the legend combined with striker Luis Suarez to score what has been dubbed as the 'penalty of the century'.
The La Liga's defending champions were already ahead 3-1 when the Argentine was brought down inside the penalty area.
Messi stepped up to take the penalty but instead of kicking the ball, rolled it into the path of the onrushing former Liverpool striker who put the ball past a hapless keeper.
He's Messi, he can do whatever he wants...even pass from the penalty spot.https://t.co/LcizKrW9X2

"It was designed for me, we had practised it, but Luis was closer," Neymar told Barca TV.
"It doesn`t matter, he scored so it worked well."
Not everyone was happy with Messi and Suarez's double act, terming it a lack of respect for their opponents.
