New Delhi: Known for near perfect on-field attitude, Lionel Messi carries a cool demeanour even when at the receiving end of roughest tackles. But on Wednesday, the Barcelona talisman lost his cool and resorted to head-butting a la, Zinedine Zidane.
In a rare outburst, the Argentine superstar confronted Roma`s French international Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa. In the 35th minute of the first half, Messi aimed a head-butt at Yanga-Mbiwa, after the Roma defender tried his own head-butt at the play-maker. Messi, then, grabbed Yanga-Mbiwa's throat before the situation was diffused. Referee Javier Estrada Fernandez booked both the players. Messi has never been sent off for the club and his only red-card was way back in 2005, on his Argentina debut.
