New Delhi: In a bizarre incident, British comedian Simon Brodkin on Monday gatecrashed Sepp Blatter's press conference in Zurich to shower the FIFA president with a wad of fake cash, saying ‘this is for North Korea in 2026’.
The incident occurred as Blatter was getting ready to announce the dates for the next FIFA presidential election.
Just as he was about to commence speaking, Brodkin interrupted proceedings to make a brief speech and throw cash at the FIFA chief.
He was then hauled away by the security staff at the FIFA headquarters/

This was not the first instance where Brodkin has managed to do something unusual and create a stir. He once joined Manchester City players in full kit for their warm-up ahead of their match against Everton, and also interrupted Kanye West’s headline act at Glastonbury earlier this year.
