London: England football team captain Wayne Rooney, who recently won 100th cap for his country, has asserted that he has no intention of quitting England at the international level.

Manchester United striker stated that it would be mad on his part to retire from internationals. He believes that a lot of players have quit their international career in order to extend club career. He further said his wife Coleen warned that he would regret if he makes any such decision, as she believes he would have plenty of time to spend with the family once he officially retires, the Mirror reported.

According to him, he intends to play for the country at the next World Cup in Russia in 2018, provided he manage to continue playing well, and manager selects him.
