New Delhi: Manchester United forward Wayne Rooney is happy to be back with the England squad ahead of the nation's Euro 2016 qualifiers game against Lithuania and an international friendly against Italy.
England's games are to be held on 27th and 31st March respectively. The 29-year-old was awarded he Player of the Year award and will be eager to step up once again for the Three Lions. Rooney stated on Tuesday that it's good to be back with the English team and pick up the Player of the Year award. \

With Daniel Sturridge injured, Rooney is expected to start upfront alongside Tottenham Hotspur sensation Harry Kane who has already set the Premier League on fire and it helped him get a first England call-up in the senior team.
Rooney who had a poor game against Liverpool last weekend despite United's 2-1 victory at Anfield, will eye to get back some form for both England and his club.
