Why Cristiano Ronaldo will not leave Real Madrid

New Delhi: Despite constant reports of Portugal footballer Cristiano Ronaldo leaving Real Madrid this summer, the actual probability of him leaving the club is very tiny.

The Spanish media is rife with rumors that the superstar is miffed over club president Florentino Perez's growing closeness with teammate Gareth Bale.

Spanish publication Don Balon has claimed that Carlo Ancelotti's exit, the cooling relations between Ronaldo and Perez, the hiring of Rafa Benitez as manager and Perez's unrelenting support for Bale have been the major issues which have unsettled the two-time FIFA Ballon d'Or winner.

The superstar was unhappy with Ancelotti's departure and his post on Instagram stating that he hoped to work with the Italian next season made it quite visible.

Any club wanting to secure the services of Ronaldo will have to shatter the world record for the transfer fee. As per Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes, the 30-year-old's buyout clause is one billion.

Considering the stringent Financial Fair Play rules, the possibility of big European clubs going hammer and tongs for Ronaldo looks unreal at the moment.

If reports are true and Ronaldo were to leave Real, Paris Saint-Germain would be frontrunners for his signature, considering their financial muscle.
