After having beaten Uruguay and Italy, the Costa Rican`s have proved to be biggest giant killers at tournament.

England will most likely give Smalling, Shaw, Jones and Lampard their first taste of action during this years tournament. Rooney and Gerrard are expected to start from the bench. In the absence of Gerrard, Lampard will captain the side.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain won`t make it to this match as well after he injured himself in weekend training. Costa Rica will want to finish top of Group D and their chances of doing this look good with them needing just a point. Jorge Luis Pinto is expected to rest some of his key players in order to have them ready and injury free for the next round.

England will want to pick a atleast a win before they head back home. However, considering the current form of both the teams, the "Three Lions"have a tough task ahead of them. The one positive for the England faithful, is that they would have an opportunity to see their next generation of footballers in action during this match.
