Welcome to our live coverage of the Round of 16 game between France and Nigeria in Brasilia.

Welcome to our live coverage of the Round of 16 game between France and Nigeria in Brasilia. The four games so far have been evenly contested, which is reason to believe this too will be a hard fought battle.

France got through the group stage without losing a single game. They won 2 and drew 1. Kareena Benzema was among the goals for Les Bleus and is looking sharp to add more to his tally.

Paul Pogba is expected to start today. He has done a fair job in the absence of Nasri and Ribery. The back 4 are more or less settled and Evra will once again take his place on the left.

Nigeria were lucky to get into the knockout round. They beat Bosnia thanks to some errors by the referee. They drew against Iran and lost to Argentina.

The "Super Eagles" displayed their attacking flair against Argentina as they matched Messi with their 2 goals only to lose 3-2 later. Peter Odemwingie has pace and trickery up front for the Africans.

The experienced Mikel will control their midfield and Musa who was sensational against Argentina will start on an attacking right position.

France are favorites to go through to the quarter finals. But the Nigerians will not sit back and let them play. We can expect free- flowing football between the two teams with end to end action.
