This comes to the end of our coverage of Round 1 of the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Group H will have Belgium and Algeria in the Round of 16. Algeria were hold to a 1-1 draw by Russia, but it was good enough for the African team. They play Germany next.

FULL-TIME: Korea Republic 0 - 1 Belgium

90+4' - Origi, against the run of play, beat few Koreans but failed to beat goal-keeper.

90+3' - Lee Chung-Yong tried his bit in the dying minutes with a last gasp shot from inside the box.

90+1' - Lee Yong got another opportunity to equalise but his poor attempt meant Courtois saving it with realtive ease.

90' - Newly arrived Hazard tested Korean goalie following a Vanden Borre attempt moments earlier. Four minutes ADDED.

89' - Lee Chung-Yong, in a bid to win possession, played it rough. Referee awarded Belgium a free-kick. Time runnins out of the Asians.

88' - Belgium SUB: Eden Hazard finally arrived. he replaced Kevin Mirallas.

86' - After some neat passes, Lee Keun-Ho tried to find a team-mate inside the Belgium box, in futility.

85' - With five minutes to the final whistle, Koreans are trying to regroup themselves. Got the ball in the Belgium half.

84' - Mirallas is having a great play. His delivery from the free-kick, following a Lee Yong foul, tested the Korean defenders.

82' - Korea continue to press hard. Koo Ja-Cheol tried to score from a long range. Unluckily, his attempt was too meek to trouble the Belgians.

80' - From the re-start, Lee Keun-Ho almost found the equaliser. But his attempt sailed over the bar.

78' - Belgium GOAL!!! Jan Vertonghen scored from a rebound after Origi's long ranger was blocked by the Korean goalie.

76' - Mirallas received warning from the warning for rough play. From the play, Ki Sung-Yong tried a direct shot on the goal, but a defender blocked the shot.

74' - Chadli committed a foul inside the Korean half.

73' - Korea Sub: Heung-Min Son replaced by Ji Dong-Won.

72' - Belgium won a corner. Divock Origi's header off the Mirallas delivery failed to hit the target.

70' - Jan Vertonghen once again tried a long-ranger, but his attempt miss the target. Goal-kick to Korea.

68' - Good play from the Koreans from the goal-kick. Lee Chung-Yong delivered a cross inside the Belgium box, but was defended effectively by the Belgians.

67' - Belgium won a corner. From the corner, taken by Mirallas, Fellaini missed the target as his header sailed over the bar.

66' - Korea Sub: Kim Shin-Wook replaced by Kim Bo-Kyung.

65' - Lee Chung-Yong found himself once again in a good position but was brought down be a Belgium defender. But no call from the referee.

62' - Lee Chung-Yong could have done better from the corner play. But his header was saved by Courtois.

61' - Korea won a corner thanks to a Lee Yong delivery.

60' - At the hour mark, double Belgium SUB: Dries Mertens replaced by Divock Origi and Adnan Januzaj made way for Nacer Chadli.

59' - Belgium have started to play like a champion team. Dries Mertens, after a good move from the centre, tried a long-ranger. But Seung-Gyu Kim produced a fine save.

56' - Januzaj released a good ball for Fellaini from the right flank. But Fellaini was brought down by Kim Young-gwon. A penalty call for Belgium went unheard.

53' - Ki Sung-yeung's delivery from the flag-post failed to find Koreans inside the Belgium box.

52' - Thibault Courtois produced a save from a Lee Chung-Yong attempt. Korea missed a golden chance to score. Corner to the Asians.

51' - From the set-piece, Ki Sung-yeung tried to produce a telling pass, but his attempt flew wide off the right post.

49' - Yellow Card for Moussa Dembele after crashing on Ki Sung-yeung. Korea won a free-kick.

48' - Hong Jeong-ho received medical attention as he landed awkwardly after trying a acrobatic clearance. But he is fit to play.

46' - Second-half started. During the interval Korea substituted Kook-Young Han with Keun-Ho Lee.

In the first-half, Belgium were slightly better than the Koreans with 57% possession and five shots on the target. Koreans found the target, but most importantly found to have the courage to take on the talented side.

Defour! What a bad challenge.

45+2' - van Buyten got a sweet delivery from the free-kick but failed to convert.

45+1' - Sung-Yong Ki committed a foul and Belgium won a free-kick.

44' - RED CARD for Steven Defour. Two-footed challenge is always a dangerous one the Porto player paid the price for the a seemingly innocuous foul.

42' - Belgium are creating lot more chances but so far failed to convert of the moves. The Mertens-Defour combination is working pretty well.

40' - Januzaj conceded a free-kick in the Belgium half. from the set-piece, Sung-Yong Ki tried an ambitious free-kick but Belgian defenders were alert to avert the danger.

37' - Following the set-piece play, Vertonghen and Mertens combined well to trouble the Korean defenders.

35' - Yellow Card for Jeong-Ho Hong for a tussle with Mirallas and conceded a free-kick to Belgium.

34' - Mertens ruled off-side following an early release from the centre.

33' - Lombaerts received warning from the referee for a rough tackle. Little earlier, Defour got a solo effort on the goal, but his ball failed to hit the target.

30' - Korea won back-to-back corners. But failed to take advantage from the set-play. Certainly, the best period of play from the Asians.

29' - Sung-Yong Ki forced a brilliant attack from Thibault Courtois with a long ranger. Corner for Korea.

26' - Koreans found a good surge, found Ki Sung-Yeung taking a long-ranger. But poor effort to finish the move.

25' - Yoon Suk-young escaped booking after committing a foul.

24' - What a chance for Mertens to make it one up for Belgium. He was in a great position to slot home th opener, but a poor attempt undone the brilliant build-up.

21' - Mirallas is everywhere. This time, he tried to feed a team-mate with a clear run. But busy Korean defenders are keeping it tight for the Europeans.

20' - Kevin Mirallas caught off-side again. Little earlier, Koreans got themselves a good chance to create something. But, Belgium defenders delivered for the team.

17' - Vertonghen's attempt form some 30 metres, sailed wide.

15' - Ja-Cheol Koo got a clearance inside the Korean half as he thwarted Januzaj-Vanden move, but conceded a free-kick.

13' - Good play from Korea as Yong Lee received a through pass but he failed to connect with the ball and the chance is wasted.

11' - From the set-piece, Young-Kwon Kim delivered a cross inside the Belgium box. But his delivery went out of play.

10' - Another halt of play soon afterwards, as referee deemed it fit to award a free-kick to Korea after Lombaerts engaged in some rough play.

9' - Ben Williams received a tackle from Young-Kwon Kim (South Korea), and Belgium won a free-kick.

7' - In this initial period, Belgium are dictating the terms in the centre. Mertens tried a long ball inside the Korean half, but failed to any attacker.

Moments earlier, Mirallas was caught offside as his bid to unlock the Korean defence came to a halt.

5' - Belgium won a throw-ion in their own half. Lombaert's throw found Fellaini. From the play, Hong Jeong-ho headed away the ball to safety.

4' - Moussa Dembele received medical attention after crashing on Kim Shin-Wook. But he is fit and will continue to play.

2' - In fact, the Asians have started with a good run but Ja-Cheol Koo was caught off-side.
