Messi beats his marker and fires a right footed hits the side netting. 90' - 3 minutes of added time has been signaled by the ref's assistant. 88' - Visca who is beaten by Messi with sheer pace finds the best way to stop him. He brings him down. The ref blows his whistle for a foul. Messi is in a bit of pain but he of course faces this every week in La Liga. 86' - That goal has changed the complexion of the match. There is enough time for Bosnia to sneak in a equalizer. They seem to have found their confidence and belief after that goal. Senad Lulic puts Vedad Ibisevic through on goal who slides the ball through Romero's legs. The ball rolls into the goal. 84' - Goal! Vedad Ibisevic 80' - That second goal has knocked the wind out of the Bosnia team. Even their fans seem to be leaving the stadium. 77' - Messi puts a long ball for Higuain. Despite moving into a good position, he can't hit the target. The ball sails over the cross bar. 74' - And Bosnia make their final substitution of the match. Zvjezdan Misimovic off. Haris Medunjanin on. 71' - Another quick substitution by Bosnia - Izet Hajrovic goes off and is replaced by Edin Visca. 69' - Substitution for Bosnia: Mensur Mujdza comes off. Vedad Ibisevic comes on. 67' - Bosnia will feel hard done by. They were into this game until that moment of magic by Messi. Messi started the move and got the ball outside the box. He went on a run, skipping pas two players and fired the shot. The ball went in off the inside of the left post. Fantastic goal. His second ever World Cup goal. 65' - GOAL! Lionel Messi 62' - Aguero is fouled. Poor challenge as he is caught from behind. Emir Spahicn gets a yellow card for that rash challenge. 56' - Bosnia are crowding Messi with two to three players every time he comes at them with the ball. This could help him release Higuain. 54' - Hajrovic is at it again. He tries his luck from distance. Same result again as Romero saves the shot. 51' - Again Bosnia's attacks are finding the keeper. The last line of defense has not been able to deal with the danger. 49' - Hajrovic's free-kick is accurate but Romero is in position to save it comfortably. No changes for Bosnia. The continue with the same side as the first half. Argentina have made two changes during the half. Maxi Rodriguez has been withdrawn in favor of Gonzalo Higuain and Hugo Campagnaro for Fernando Gago. 46' - The second 45 minutes of the match are underway. Here we go... This has been an excellent performance from Bosnia. Apart from the own goal in the second minute of the match, they have not been troubled by Argentina. Lionel Messi has been very quiet and hasn't had any impact on this match so far. Bosnia will be happy to go into the break just 1-0 down. They have created plenty of chances and Romero has been the busier of the two keepers. Argentina need to assert their supremacy in the second half or Bosnia would spoil their big moment here. HALF TIME: Argentina 1-0 Bosnia & Herzegovina 45' - Only one minute of added on time has been signaled by the ref. 43' - Bosnia clearly looking like they could get something from this match. Apart from the early goal, there has been nothing to separate the two teams. 41' - Corner for Bosnia. The delivery is attacked by Lulic who forces a smart save from Romero. Another corner. 38' - Surprisingly Messi has not been involved in much of the Argentinian play so far. Mascherano is seeing a lot of the ball. Bosnia doing a wonderful job of dealing with Messi. 35'- Bicakcic and Aguero involved in a clash of heads as they go up for the same ball. Aguero clearly felt the pain first and immediately went down. Bicakcic followed soon. 32'- Dzeko takes Hajrovic's pass and goes for goal His shoot sails over the cross bar. Good effort. Bosnia are probing here. 29'- Lulic makes a marauding run on the left flanks. His diagonal ball is fired in just a bit too early as the ref calls the attacker for off-side. 27'- Clearly Bosnia are in here with a chance especially with this Argentina back four who don't look comfortable defending long balls played into the box. 26'- Hajrovic completes a lovely pass to Besic who is crowded out by the Argentinian defenders. 25'- In between, Rojo got a caution but translated into a yellow card for his untoward tackle. 22'- Messi not looking in his elements so far. He has repeatedly got himself in good positions but there has been no final product. 19'- Messi is lucky to have a cleared ball at his feet right at the edge of box. Instead of shooting, he tries to put Di Maria through. But the Bosnia defense is alert to the danger. 15'- Misimovic is fouled by Mascherano as soon as he gets past the latter. 12'- Pjanic with a sensational ball finds Hajrovic who finds himself in plenty of space. A poor first touch means Romero averts the potential danger. 10'- Despite the early setback, Kolasinac has been solid guarding the left flank of Bosnia. Very composed. 8' - Mismovic pinches the ball off Mascherano right in the middle of the park. Bosnia are sticking to their pre-match brief of pressing the Argentinians. 6'- Bosnia win a corner on the right, sadly for them Pjanic just fails to pick out a man in dark blue from a very dangerous position. Good to see they have not gone into a shell after the early goal. 3'- How unfortunate is Kolasinac. He scores an own goal at the World Cup debut of his country. History won't judge him very kindly. Messi's free-kick from the left side was deflected by the head of Rojo. The ball got tangled in between the legs of the very unlucky Kolasinac who didn't even realize the ball went off him inside his own goal. GOAL! Sead Kolasinac (OG) 1'- Argentina will get us started here. Here we go... Huge roar as Lionel Messi appears on the big screen. This is some atmosphere inside football's equivalent of the Colosseum. The players from both teams have lined up for their national anthems. The eternal debate has taken center stage yet again - does a player need to win a World Cup to be considered a legend of the game? Wonder what Lionel Messi feels. It almost appears as though the Argentinian fans have taken over the Maracana - a sea of blue and white. Surreal. We have the line-ups of both the teams: Argentina: Romero, Garay, Campagnaro, Zabaleta, Di Maria, Messi (c), Rodriguez, Mascherano, Rojo, F. Fernandez, Aguero. Bosnia & Herzegovina: Begovic, Bicakcic, Spahic (c), Kolasinac, Besic, Pjanic, Misimovic, Dzeko, Mujdza, Lulic, Hajrovic. Welcome to our live coverage of the World Cup Group E game between Argentina v Bosnia & Herzegovina at Estadio do Maracana in Rio de Janeiro. The first match of this group was was an absolute humdinger as Switzerland won it in almost the last minute. This second match promises to be equally exciting. All eyes will be on Lionel Messi tonight as he tries to make a mark for himself in the history of World Cup finals. After shattering all the records at club level, the Barcelona forward will want to emulate Argentina legend Diego Maradona by winning the trophy. For Bosnia & Herzegovina, this is their first ever appearance in a World Cup. All the players, team staff and fans will be looking to enjoy as much of the occasion as possible. The Bosnians have a quality line-up especially with Edin Dzeko leading them. After scoring 30 goals in their qualifiers, Bosnia & Herzegovina have arrived extremely well prepared. All the pressure would be on Messi and Argentina to establish their conditionals as genuine contenders for the match, which could go against them. The match is expected to an open affair as both teams have wonderful talent on offer. Argentina are not quite strong defensively and the Bosnians will try and exploit that.
