The Asian Football Confederation can hold elections for its presidency any time from June onward to replace the suspended Mohammed bin Hammam. Zhang Yilong has been the acting president since May 2011, and is the favorite to win this year`s vote. However there is are a number of candidates emerging in both east and west Asia, with AFC vice-president Yousuf Al Serkal of the United Arab Emirates expected to be a strong challenger. Bureau Report
