Dhoni had said “I just believe in finishing the game” and after his pyrotechnics tied the ODI against Sri Lanka, their captain Mahela Jayawerdene said this, “Dhoni could take you apart. He is a great finisher, he is cool and calm and backs himself. He is a strong character."
So is he the best finisher of his generation in the limited over version? For the record, he has finished a lot of games for India – notably the 2011 World Cup final and more recently the two CB series ODIs.
