Is Sachin right in opting out of Lankan tour?

Is Sachin right in opting out of Lankan tour? Sachin Tendulkar has again opted out of the ODI and T20Is as he asked the selectors not to pick him for the Lankan tour.

Though it’s not clear whether he is fully fit or not but it’s pretty clear that he does not want to play the shorter versions of cricket regularly. There are some people who question: Since he plays the IPL matches, what is the harm in playing for the country in ODIs and T20Is?

We at Zeenews.com’s Sports Team ask our readers to voice their opinions on this subject

i think sachin tendulkar is doing very wrong he should continue playing odi and t20`s because he is one of the best cricketer in world and i can`t see a match played by india without sachin tendulkar. by and large i would adore to avow that he is brilliant in cricket and should play t20`s and odi`s

he is getting old and slower reflexes, hence he do not want to spoil his average.

for legend like him, let him take the decision of when he want to play and when not, also by he not going we can be ready with young players in line. so that when he retires team should still be able to fil the gap
