New Delhi: Rising star Gaganjeet Bhullar`s
consistent show on the Asian Tour has helped the strapping
Indian pro breach the top 200 bracket and rise to 169th spot
in the latest World Golf Rankings.
The 22-year-old`s second best finish in the Macau Open
golf tournament last week, has helped him jump a massive 49
places, way ahead of fellow Indian golfer Arjun Atwal at 345.
However, senior pro Jeev Milkha Singh lost two rungs to
slip to the 47th spot after his tied 18th finish in the
Mercedes-Benz tournament in Germany last week.
Among others, European Tour regular Jyoti Randhawa
slumped 47 places from last week`s 147 to be ranked 194th.
He (Major Dhyan Chand) is inspiration personified. He became synonymous with hockey. He became the parameter of hockey by which other player's calibre is measured.
