Former caddie takes a dig at Tiger Woods

London: Tiger Woods’ former caddie Steve Williams has taken a dig at the American golfer by describing Australian Adam Scott’s four-stroke win in the World Golf Championships as “the best week in my life”.
Williams was deeply hurt by his sacking last month by Woods, and was unable to contain his emotions after Scott shot a brilliant closing 65 to finish 17 under at the Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio. “I was a little nervous, but it’s an incredible feeling to back it up. This is the best win of my life and I have caddied for 33 years,” a daily quoted Williams, as saying.“It’s the greatest week of my life. I’m a very confident front-runner and I want to finish first,” he added. Williams had been working with Woods since March 1999, and is believed to have earned over three million pounds through his estimated five percent share of Woods’ earnings on the course. Meanwhile, Woods, who made his comeback in this event, finished 18 shots behind Scott, and used childhood friend Byron Bell on his bag. ANI
