Gangjee, Chopra slip in 3rd round of Cox Classic

Rahil Gangjee carded a disappointing one-under 70 in the third round and slipped 14 places to tied 51st in the Nationwide Tour`s Cox Classic.

Omaha, USA: Indian golfer Rahil Gangjee carded a disappointing one-under 70 in the third round and slipped 14 places to tied 51st in the Nationwide Tour`s Cox Classic.
In a tournament where birdies came in plenty, Gangjee managed just two against a bogey to take his total to eight-under 205. Also slipping down was Daniel Chopra, who shot a 71 and is 60th at seven-under.Gangjee teed off from the tenth and birdied the 17th and ninth and his bogey came on the 18th. Leader JJ Killeen (63) is 20-under as none of the players who made the cut is worse than three-under in the high-scoring event. Killeen, winner at the Utah Championships last week, is four shots clear of the four-man pack in second place. The second group included Ken Duke (67), Danny Less (66), Mike Laverry (67) and Russell Knox (68). PTI
