Gangjee misses cut, Chopra 26th

San Jacinto: Rahil Gangjee brought home an improved card of 71 in the second round but still missed the cut at the Soboba Golf Classic on the Nationwide Tour.

Gangjee, who had turned in a disappointing 77 in the first round, sank five birdies against three bogey and a double bogey to ended his campaign with a total of 148. Meanwhile, Daniel Chopra added a second round 68 to make the cut.

Chopra added a third round 69 to be placed in tied 26th place.

Jonas Blixt took the 54-hole lead as he fired a bogey-free 66 and went to 11-under 202, which was two shots better than Cameron Percy (68), Matt Every (67), Ted Potter (66) and Matt Wilkinson (70).
