While India A was lying sixth with a total of 167, the country`s second team was further down on the leaderboard at the end of the opening round at the famous Royal Perth Golf Club. Gangesh Khaitan (82) and Vijay Kumar (85) registered the day`s two best scores for India A, while Laxman Singh shot 86. India`s B team comprising Ashish Dube (85), Nalin Kant (86) and IPS Mann (90) were further down the chart. After the opening day, New Zealand were ahead at 153 followed by Australia A, one shot behind, and Australia B (156). Philippines and Hong Kong follow the pack at 161 and 163 respectively. PTI
