Avondale: Taking another step towards his maiden PGA Tour victory, American Jason Dufner took a two-shot lead in the third round of Zurich Classic on Saturday.
Dufner carded 5-under 67 on Saturday to take a two-stroke and birdied three of the first four holes to get to 15 under.
"For me, it means instead of two good rounds I`ve had three good rounds, so maybe we can make it four, starting tomorrow,” Dufner was quoted as saying by a news agency.
"I don`t really think about all that type of stuff. Obviously, I know that I hadn`t played as well as I would like on the weekends, try to identify some of the reasons why and try to implement some of those tomorrow," he added.
Graham DeLaet of Canada was second after carding a seven-birdie 66 while South African Ernie Els birdied three of the last six holes for a 68 to lie three strokes with American John Rollins (69).
