Sevilla (Spain): Jeev Milkha Singh`s nightmarish back nine with three bogeys and one double bogey saw him slip to a card of 74 and ended tied 32nd in the Reale Seguros Open de Espana here.
The Indian golfer had one bogey against two birdies in the front nine, but had a rough time on the return journey. Jeev had rounds of 73, 74, 71 and 74 for a total of four-over 292 last night.
The title went to Francesco Molinari, whose brilliant closing round of 65 earned him a third European Tour title.
The Italian Ryder Cup player turned a four stroke deficit into a three shot win with his brilliant seven under par effort at Reale Club de Golf de Sevilla.
Molinari produced the best round of the week.
Overnight leader Simon Dyson could only manage a 76 -- and that after birdies at the first two holes.
Seven birdies in the first 14 holes and then four closing pars gave Molinari, 29, the first prize of more than 333,330 euros with an eight under par aggregate.
