Sevilla (Spain): Jeev Milkha Singh, the lone Indian in the field, managed a two-under 72 for a tied 23rd in the incomplete third round at the rain-hit Reale Seguros Open de España golf tournament, here on Saturday.
Jeev, who shot a modest 73 in the first round with three birdies and four bogeys, had a 74 on day two with three birdies and five bogeys. Jeev was lying 23rd after making the cut in 40th place when lightning and flooded greens stopped play. Halfway leader Gregory Bourdy, yet to tee off on Saturday, held a one shot advantage over Spain’s Jorge Campillo, Italian teenager Matteo Manassero and English pair Robert Rock and Danny Willett. Bourdy is one in front of England`s Simon Dyson and Robert Rock, 19 year old Italian Matteo Manassero and Jorge Campillo, now the leading home hope on the 100th anniversary of the event`s launch. PTI
